Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS)

At San Luis Middle School we implement a behavior system that is fair and equal for all students. The system is Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS). PBIS is centered around clear and concise expectations in all areas of the school and when those expectations are met students will be rewarded. 

Teachers created chants, skits, and visuals to learn about the Positive Behavior Intervention Systems (PBIS). Teachers were engaged and participated in small groups to learn what PBIS entails, what are the systems in PBIS, what are the incentives of PBIS, and also how to handle student behavior.
