1. If your child is absent from school, you must report it to the office at 627-6920, and send a note with your child upon his/her return. If your child’s absence was due to a dentist, doctor, court, etc. appointment, please obtain a note for that absence from the visit. All students must report to the office upon their return from an absence to receive an admit slip back to classes.
2. On Monday, August 28th we will be conducting our first tardy sweep. This is an announced tardy sweep as we have been announcing it to the students during morning and afternoon announcements. Please ensure that your child arrives to school every day prior to the first bell at 7:25 a.m. During a tardy sweep, students will be issued either a verbal warning or a lunch detention; this will be based on their previous amount of tardies for this year. During the year, we will conduct random tardy sweeps, so it is imperative for your child to be on time every day.
3. Lastly, we would like to remind all parents and students that there is no supervision on our campus or surrounding areas until 7:00 a.m. To ensure all students’ safety, please do not have your child get to school prior to 7:00 a.m. Student safety is our number one priority.
