First Solar Panel Created by San Luis Middle School STEM Students

Their advisor, Mr. Cesar Castro, taught the logistics of generating electricity from the sun to his students and eventually encouraged them to try their hands on the electric circuit in bits and parts. Mr. Castro coached the young engineers about the benefits of generating energy from sun at zero cost.

This project will provide free electricity in the scorpion shade, where students spend a lot of time. It used to get very dark during early morning and later evening in winter season. This project was undertaken keeping students’ safety in mind.

San Luis Middle school students hope to undertake many educational and beneficial projects in future.
